The are many ways and one of the way is practising pattern. I’m speaking based on my personal experience and this experience may not apply to others or just my subjective conclusion.
When having stressful events, I do pattern. It is a way to calm my mind, and also a form of practical escapism. It works well and I feel calmer after doing series of patterns.
Doing patterns, make our body remembers because our muscle have memories. Eventhough if we loss our memories, theoretically, we may still be able to do pattern. Just like riding bicycle, it’s almost impossible to forget. You just know.
I’m unsure if pattern can make me a good fighter but, it makes me understand deeper, and appreciete the profound simplicity in each application. A master said, if you know pattern that it is easier for you to be a good fighter.
Most important, it gives sort of mental clarity and good for health.Taekwon!
